I did :)

Just popped downstairs to get a coffee and spotted the hedgehog snuffling round the garden. First time I've seen it in daylight. A few birds on the feeder too.

We’ve recently seen a hedgehog in the garden. We had a regular last year, but Sunday’s visit was the first this year.

We've caught it on the wildlife camera overnight and it's been eating the hedgehog food we've left out, but it was the first time I'd actually spotted it.

The possible baby robin has been back this morning and I'm now more confident that's what it is.

For the past few weeks, I have had a jay as a regular visitor on my bird feeder. I don't think the regulars are too happy about it.

Not seen a hedgehog in the garden for several years.

Lovely to watch young great tits, blue tits and dunnocks in the garden over the last couple of days. We have had the 3 species nesting here this year and I'd love to think these were the youngsters.

If I’m honest I’ve never really taken much notice of young birds but have derived huge pleasure this year in seeing fledglings seemingly everywhere. Saw a lovely robin yesterday and as I think I’ve posted before there are titmice everywhere round us

After the great tits fledged, I removed the old nest from the nest box and cleaned it out (to get rid of parasites). I'm now wondering whether that was the right thing to have done if I want them to raise a second brood. Do they reuse the old nest? Not that there's anything I can do about it at this point, but it would be handy to know for next year.

A friend told me tits only have one brood but I’m led to believe that’s incorrect. I wouldn’t be inclined to interfere tbh

From Wikipedia, on great tits: "In most years the pair will raise two broods."

(You always have to be careful doing an Internet search on 'great tits').
