Someone mentioned Pussy Willow blossom the other day, this was taken in my garden this morning, primrose in flower in December :-)

Lots of song thrush song, also spring-like. Saw a snow bunting on top of Divis hill overlooking Belfast.

I did the same as you did Mrs Jigs and took photos of primroses in my garden too! My "wild" primroses flower from November onwards nearly every year. I meant to look out for catkins this morning, they usually show about now here in South Wales..but I was running and in the zone...and forgot! But there were Song Thrushes singing in several locations. But let's not be fooled, Winter is lurking!

Chrisity's Slav Grebe still showing really well at Attenborough. This morning to make life reallty easy for everyone it had positioned itself about 20 yards from the entrance to the Visitor Centre/Cafe. No real need for optics or to be any doubt that you hadn't just seen a slightly odd GCG through the general murk. :-)
