you might not have seen a Slav Grebe J2R but my word..you see a load of other species.
Nice spot bonners--I'm lucky that I get 'em frequently in this urban garden.

Most chaffinches I've ever seen at my mums today. Also a dipper in the stream that runs through their garden which is the first time I've seen one here in 15 years.

Large flock of lapwings today. I always think they fly like Nazgul.

I've not seen a flock of Lapwings for almost half a century! Last group I saw was 25 locally about fifteen years ago.

Nice to have Dipper in a garden area Roberto.
Small flock of up to 15 Long Tailed Tits at dusk every day in my garden.

My visiting flock of LTTs has been growing over the last week or so. Currently up to 11 or 12. They visit around 9am and then again in late afternoon.

We have a big flock of Lapwings (400-500 are the recent counts) over wintering on the res. I think the relatively high water levels mean that the roost sites are more secure this winter, certainly compared with last year when they were accesible to foxes with barely a damp paw.
