Thereβs a great webcam for peregrines in Leamington run by warwickshire wildlife trust.... warwickdc.gov.uk Their twitter feed is good too π We have a peregrine in the old Cathedral in Coventry as well π Some good spots going on. Dave saw 10 little Egret on one of the local fields the other day, the moorhen is nesting on the pond and the duck numbers reducing and being seen further away from the pond down the stream, so assuming they are finding nesting sites π π₯ |

^ good stuff phal We have peregrines in Keighley too, and at one time I worked in a West Yorkshire city that had them on the building next to our office. That was magical. You could see them from the kitchen |

Peregrines at Salisbury (normally) salisburycathedral.org.uk There was a peregrine's nest in a hotel I used a lot (Santa Clara Marriott) on one of the towers. Great to see the peregrines from above, but the chick(s)? made an awful row. No chance of a lie in. In other news - a couple of redpolls are joining the siskins & goldfinches on the garden feeders. |

First Cetti of the year on the way to parkrun, but it hasn't quite remembered all the song yet. It just gave the Jack,.....JackjackjackJack but didn't know what came next and just repeated it. Incidentally found this bird song site xeno-canto.org which gives recordings from around the world. |

First oystercatcher of the year up here today. In the snow. I love the xeno canto site. The only problem is the quantity of stuff on there. |

Fragile Do Not Bend
Very windy trip to Rye Harbour this afternoon. Iβm never sure what birds are worth mentioning π Anyway highlight for me was the greatest number of little grebes Iβve seen in one place, there were at least 10. The black headed gulls were hassling them, I assume trying to pinch the fish the grebes were catching. |

Wriggling Snake
White Fronted Goose, that is a bit of a rarity.
