Yesterday i ran by a large tree in the morning, and saw a pair of treecreepers marching up it. Passed it later, there was a GSW drumming away. Finally went past at 8.00 and there was a Tawny Owl hooting from it.

A pair of kingfishers flitting about along the edge of a lake on my regular run today. I've seen them on the river before, but never on the lake. A true delight. Also, the Cetti's warbler I mentioned last week has obviously been to see the therapist from "The King's Speech" because it was sounding a lot more confident today. |
