Just realised that the link on previous page was to the wrong campsite (the farm being just a bit further up the road). The site we have stayed at is Castlerigg Hall castlerigg.co.uk I'm sure the other is just as good

The farm is where I’d stayed, it’s very nice with lots of room for tents. The view from behind my tent at Castlerigg farm |

A new installation in the lakes. Can anyone spot/identify where it is? "‘Borrowdale Banksy’ mystery leaves mark on the fells" thetimes.co.uk It looks to me to be somewhere on the east slopes of Maiden Moor/High Spy, maybe around Nitting Haws or slightly further north? I read someone say there was some scrambling required to get to it rather than it being on a path. |

um
Looks a good call SimonF. I thoght I'd have some photos to compare the view, but only from the top, so missing much of the foreground in the picture.

I never thought I'd say it, but it's too hot for walking! Did Bessyboot this morning but struggling towards the end. Not expecting to do anything tomorrow - it's forecast for hotter still |
