'Interesting' is itself an interesting description of Cleator Moor - unless it's been calmed down somewhat in the several years since I was last over that way

I loved the Crap Towns description of the inhabitants of Cleator Moor as being like tumbleweeds, though when I did locum work there I found them rather less welcoming than tumbleweeds. But it has a Co-op.

W Wool…if Broughton in Furness was close enough..that would get my vote. Easy for Coniston range as well.
