I’ve not been in for quite a few years but it didn’t strike me as a typical ‘market town disco’ A group of us had a brilliant Friday night in there when there was an ABBA tribute act on maybe ten years ago

um Aug 2020 10:10am, 16 Aug 2020 3,133 posts	0 um Lake District pubs ... quite a few beers in the Dungeon Ghyll, found The Bank Tavern in Keswick quite good, and had a few meals in The Badger at Rothay. Not sure I've tried, or been tempted by any of the Ambleside pubs.
