Yeah larkim, m surprised there wasn't some traction control option on yours in winter like jda said?

Nice pic Dave - Soul?

Winter tyres are the single most important thing for winter driving. I get one chance of tyres for free with my service, well included in what I pay. So I will swap to winters and hopefully just get garage to change them each 6 months. :-) G

There is traction control, doesn't stop a bit of boy racer wheelspin if you try ;-)

Don't know about electric vehicles but traction control on modern ICE cars seems rubbish -have to turn it off (if you can) to get up the hill to ours in the snow - agree with :) G winter tyres key

When you are trying to get up a hill and need a bit of a run at it. Or so spin your wheels and rock a car back and fore to get out of a drift, then you need to turn traction control off. But if you are going slowly on very slippery surface with snow or ice, then it's good to have on because you are less likely to spin wheels with steering turned and for car to spin out of control. Of course, you can always just be lighter with pedal too!

My first trial on Sunday - 100 miles there, 100 miles back and no plan to charge at the destination. I hope my 290 mile range is what it says it is. Or at least is more than 200! :-) G

My Hyundai Kona is similar to the Kia Nero (I think). All good so far. The Soul looks cool, very distinctive styling! :-) G

Missus is taking it on its first longer run today - 50 miles each way. Charged it up to full before setting off. I'm sure there won't be an problems. Not sure she has even looked at how to fill it up if for some reason it needs it! :-O
