Any Fetchpointers - can you remind me, is it still Mile 12/23 Prestonpans? I'm coming to bring the bag with the big water shooters. Think you might need it if this haze burns off!! Can't stay but thought I'd at least try and do delivery.

Good luck all Edinburgh 2012ers - enjoy the downhill start, ignore the wee bit of sand/gravel round Gosford House - it's only for 5 mins and it means you're at 18 miles and on the home straight, hopefully enjoy a wee tailwind coming off the Forth to cool you and ease you to your finish.

And enjoy Fetchpoint - the colour, the noise, the jelly babies, emergency water if required and the sweaty hugs. :-)G

Well, post a message if u are on the course and want flags, fetch signs, pom poms, tooters, bunting balloons or sun cream. I've got a bagfull!!

Just wondered if anyone else was doing Edinburgh Marathon next year? My second time (did it in 2008.

***PRE RACE MEAL DETAILS***

Saturday 26th May - 6pm - Vittoria's, George IV Bridge - Table booked under the name of Fetch

Organiser/Person to bother with questions/(Almost) Birthday Girl: McNewbie

Upstairs in "The Wash Bar" 11 - 13 North Bank Street, The Mound, Edinburgh. Room available from 15.00 'til close, so arrive whenever you are ready.

Ideally located for Waverley Railway Station, and for the tourists (me!) Edinburgh Castle! Come and take the weight off your feet, meet new and old Fetchies, get something to eat and rehydrate.
