No Fetchpoint, I'm feeling quite shocked. However, Maggie's have benefited to the tune of 2 maracas, a tamborine n a toot-a-root. No point in it going to waste. :-)G

perfect conditions for the half, no wind, cool harg, sun came out on the last mile...pb for me. Looks like being a hot day though for the full marathoners. the finish area is good only gripe is that I can see problems getting out of the runners only area, there's one small gate for everyone to pass through. Musselburgh is closed for traffic and there's no parking left, head up towards Wallyford and there's plenty of space off the main roads.

Good luck all...and keep hydrated.

Well done Andy! :) Hope the Marathoners are getting on ok....

Sorry if this has been covered before on this thread but is there any sort of runner tracker for the Marathon? I've had a quick Google but couldn't find anything.

A few pictures taken at Port Seton:

It was certainly warm but I don't think it was as hot as two years ago? Seemed to be plenty water as well. Nobody we asked needed any at least, and there was still a pile of crates at half way left after the masses had gone though.

Really enjoyed this one today. Cheered on a few fetchies when I saw them. Tried for a steadier pace than usual and it paid off with a faster time than I did in London. V pleased with 3:08. Plenty of water/gels etc and not quite as hot as I'd expected.

Well done to all who ran/cheered us on today.

Top marks to the organisers today. I didn't have any complaints. Well maybe the sun and heat but that's nott in their control. Still prefer the racecourse finish but the baggage and post race stuff worked.

Was a tough day for me. Got to gosford just about on target but found my quads ached and I just didn't have the mental capacity to overcome the pain. Settled for 3:17 which is ok given conditions. But I can do better.
