I’ve just given the front lawn a light trim - mainly to hoover up the leaves and the mess I’d left after trimming stuff. The smell of fresh cut grass is indeed lovely

Only equalled by the smell of a summer garden after rain… but that’s not spring, not early spring anyway.

That’s lovely, Mandy. The closest I’ve got to an arboretum is Kew Gardens and the Lost Gardens of Heligan … but it’s not quite the same thing.

I have booked a holiday in a completely newt-to-me place, though it's not for three months. When I say I have booked it, I mean I got eL Bee! to book it, which is also a newt, because he had the personal discount with the cottage company.
Now looking at accommodation in Northern Ireland for later in the year.

When I came home from work it was light and I went out in the garden and did some sweeping and tidying up.

It's lovely it staying lighter a bit later.
I'm trying a new pole class tonight as I'm no longer a beginner. I'm a bit worried that there'll be a load of ultra-bendy skinny minnies but it's going to be fun nevertheless

I have put food out for the hedgehog and set up the camera in the hope we get a visit, they must be out of hibernation soon.
