I'm sorry Happy, but struck by how lucky you are that it's your first contemporary. That's sadly not true for me.

I think a newt that gives us pause to reflect is a valuable newt, whether it’s something we’ve chosen or not.

Well put, HP. I hope that's what I was implying too.

A proper spring senses for me today: a wide expanse of new mown grass - Jess loves new mown grass and has to roll in it. Very joyous, and I love the smell of grass.

I have two people finishing off my NEWT doors and one putting up my NEWT guttering... Hopefully, one of the 2 results in todays NEWT for me. Otherwise been very thin on the ground...

New mown grass is delicious. Two of the shrubs are out in the garden - I don't remember their names, but one is yellow and one is pink, and they look fab.

Nice Linds!
I ran around behind the mower first thing this morning, while it was still dry, to cut the rest of the paths before it rained again. I do love the smell of freshly cut grass

I remembered a newt from yesterday: for the first time in ages I woke up feeling rested and well and free from aches, pains and niggles. This lasted all day.
