my someone boring newt was a pre swim pre work strength session today meaning I had to get my arse out of the house well early! I also completed my full swim speedwork set which is a first as I don't normally do speedwork and when I do I nearly always give up

Swim would def be a newt for me. Haven't done any regular swimming for a long time. Not committing to that. Getting out in our canoe for first time this year would be great. Will do that. G

There's a leisure centre with a swimming pool in it next door, literally, to the house I'm staying in this week. I didn't bring swim stuff with me

I’ve just had M&S cheese and marmite hot cross buns that nephew brought us for lunch. I’ve not had them before but will be getting them again. We are both marmite fans.

I'm going to open an open water swim event near me that includes "training sessions"
It is a newt location for me and will be a newt experience as I've never done a stand alone OW swim event but it's not until June - so ideal practice for Lakesman!

So sorry to hear your news HP.
Blimey, thanks very much EP, that’s made my day. Does it mean I get to choose today’s newt tomorrow?
My newt for today is in keeping with things that’ve not been done in years…rolling out of bed on to all 4s & sliding downstairs on my bottom cos my legs weren’t having it! The glamour of yesterday’s triumph is a touch tarnished now 😂

That's right HK. (Good choice by Pix, btw!)
Nip in tomorrw sometime with your Top Pick. Doesn't have to be from the previous day just something that caught your eye or imagination or whatever.

I’ve booked tickets to the Sky Garden for when I visit London in a few weeks time. Will be there for the hour before sunset.

I’m looking forward to it
I like going up tall buildings. And never done it before in London (and it’s free too which is handy!)
