Thank you Sharkie, thank you Mrs Jigs and everyone else too. First time I've joined in and it was so positive learning of everyone else's exploits.

Mrs Jigs (Luverlylegs)
Mrs J - how could I ever question your judgement? Joint winners it is. *secretly rejoices at being one of final winners*

I've been trawling through the thread trying to pick out Golden Newts - but there are just too many. It's been a good year. Doing a round up is almost impossible, certainnly if I'm to finish before midnight so here's a haphazard effort:
There were quite a few of the standing up for ourselves, taking control, making good decisions - MAKING decisions - variety of newts. Positive behaviours if that doesn't sound too wanky (prob does but I can't find a better expression). We all applauded WA resigning without an immediate future job to go to.
And helping other people: Happy G tutoring, Baroness BL signing up to become a RDA instructor, 'Just finished my first Pre-Coach Training Session (via Zoom). Looking forward very much to learning new skills and progressing this.' (She already assists ) Poppy introduced a family member to running.
Various purchases large and small. Most guaranteed to improve someone’s life one way or another. We all loved halfpint's cool new bike. Hanneke furnished her new building. Fields bought a house.
Yeah, Fields bought a house! But almost as importantly he started going for more walks, volunteered at parkrun - got more involved in life in general. *applauds again*
There were new places visited, holidays booked in new places, races run and planned. SBs and PBs collected. Races run with offspring - Fleecy, AL I remember.
Mrs J found a real life newt in the pond she created last year.
We learned about Makaton and Pomodoro
We had decorating, gardening, cooking, pole dancing, ballet lessons, a tango class, swimming, cycling, new music to listen to and to play, bands, dance, plays and musicals to see. Books to read.
Signs of spring: bunnies, birdies. Arrival of Ruby the puppy.
Rae was one taking on new challenges in her job - and played her first rugby of the season I think.
Mustn't forget ALs first duathlon, Gimme’s easter wreath making class,
Aaargh there's just too much. Wish I could mention everyone, but I can't so will just give big thanks to all of you who posted this year, whatever it was.
See you all Ash Wednesday 2023 (eek) I hope, whenever that falls.
Kisses, moonbeams.
