I will definitely do that - I am certainly going to see the statue while I am there.

This is unbelievably difficult, if it were permitted I would choose everyone who has taken part over the last 7 weeks as it's been so inspiring and great fun but I guess Sharkie wouldn't allow that as not in the rules ....

So, to narrow it down, all of the following are particularly notable:

*LindsD with her easter bunny decorations, cleverly purchased in Germany.

*Dipps less-scared cat.

*Rosehip's baby bunnies.

*WA's toad spawn.

*poppyH swimming a whole 1k front crawl.

*Sharkie coaching 18 year old Josie while also doing her own HJ session, read Sharkie's blog if you haven't already done so.

*GimmeMedals busy day in the garden!

*Autumnleaves talented niece & nephew, awesome pics!

Now to narrow it down even further....

I am really, really torn between poppyH and Sharkie and as this is the absolute last I would beg that we have joint winners please?

If Sharkie objects to my decision I will put it to the vote ;-)

Sharkie I want to thank you for once again encouraging us to 'Do a new thing for spring' This site is all the better for people like you being here heart

Can I ask my question again? Can't we just have "Do a new thing all year round...?" That would be a New Thing?! ;-)

Thanks again Sharkie for inspiration and everyone else for amazing newts! :-) G

I think it would soon become very old HG!
Sharkie’s post on the previous page kind of makes sense as to why we stop after Easter Sunday!

Personally I prefer to just keep it to Spring & Autumn, it keeps interest focussed.

About This Thread

Maintained by Sharkie
Most of you know the score. Much in the bizarre way Easter has come to mean Chocolate, Lent is mainly thought of as an opportunity to Give Up Chocolate. At least until Easter. You know what I mean, 'What are you giving up for Lent?' * I say NO to this. Away with the hair shirts and the deprivation. Let's embrace change and the NEW. Spring is a time of renewal - and restoration.

Soooooo..... you don't have to take up indoor sky diving like my partner's 90 year old mot...
