They were very slow off the mark last year. There was no track form March right through 'til July. I've just checked my blogs - I wrote one July 11th entitled 'I AM SO EXCITED' - all caps. Had just booked Battersea track but actually got to Lee Valley a few days earlier than that in the end.

This is not very newty!

I've just been on the Flanci website. There's a skort in my basket but not yet purchased. I can see it being well used when on holiday, for walking. But I'm not sure......

I’m a bit late to the skort discussion, but I always found that I felt confident to wear a very short skort, when I’d feel silly in short shorts. So good for hot weather. But even when I was thin, they’d always cause thigh chub rub, so I only ever wore them for 5ks.

(I'm holding fire on new running bottomwear because Flanci are promising more tartanalike designs like Cava/Oxna.)

About This Thread

starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
