WA Feb 2021 7:09pm, 24 Feb 2021 8,361 posts	0 WA I've had a pair of flanci leggings sitting in an online basket since November. I've just taken them out and put a skort and capris in instead. Well, it is getting warmer. I may even press buy. That's not my newt. My newt is that I went for a walk at dusk instead of during the day and heard my first lapwings and wood pigeons of the year I also stepped in a pile of horse poo because I didn't have my torch on! Oops. I only use a torch if there's a car coming so they can see me, otherwise I like walking without a light.

Mine is to finish a knitting creation! 😜😁 I have been trying to adapt a knitting pattern for mittens to make some fingerless mittens. They’re finished now... First time I’ve followed a pattern but adapted it to suit what I wanted.

The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.
