My newt today was my first bike ride of the year. Only 13 miles but it’s a start. So mild too.
I have other excitements to come but will save those for another day, I think. Great newting happening this weekend - love reading about them all

I didn't bother loading with creatine, just straight on to 2g daily. Marathon, not sprint and all that
Just background newts from me today. I went to a new-to-me Tesco (Galston) and bought a load of vegan square sausage, haggis and black pudding as well as unfamiliar brands of the meat versions and some Killie pies, then stopped off a few miles along the road and walked in Darvel for the first time.

I took creatine every day when I was doing the 8 week Buttcamp. Now I only take it after weight training (so twice a week). I built a lot of muscle when I was unable to run, and I'm not keen on sacrificing ALL of it to the running gods.

I always found Creatine’s to be much cheaper at sites like Bulk Powders of My Protein. I used to take it but forgot to cycle it properly so I ran into a couple of problems. Tomorrow’s newt will be porridge related again. Going to see how it comes out making it with chocolate oat milk. Could be terrible could be wonderful, who knows? Cant help thinking making an oat breakfast with oat milk is all a bit meta

Argh another newt today, talking to my mum on the phone, heard glass break and on investigation my magnifying mirror decided to fall out of its housing.
Hoping that as I / we did t break it it won’t bring bad luck 😬

Thank you B - and lovely primroses.
My newts today are entirely mundane. I have for the first time in I don't know how long got the laundry basket completely empty today because I did the normal washing, then the whites washing (we don't have that much stuff that is white and needs to be washed separately so it takes for ever to get enough to justify putting the machine on for a special wash - or it just gets chucked in with the coloured wash) and then I washed the 3 or 4 things that can only be handwashed - mainly because I thought I would find a dress at the bottom that I haven't worn in ages but it wasn't there so perhaps I gave it away because it never got worn (because it needed handwashing which I can never be bothered to do!)
My other newt was running more than 7 miles on a run which I haven't done since September so that was a newt for this year.
And now I need to blog about my posh meal! I've got some ideas for the choosinator role already but I'll sleep on it announce in the morning!

I have another one for today. I ran 70 miles this week, for the first time since I was ultra training in 2019. Never got above 60 in 2020 and that was just the once!
