Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

New strength circuit for me. 4 sets of 7 exercises with dumbbells, 30 seconds on 10 seconds to change, 1 minute between sets. Quite er, hard.

Backward lunge with dumbbells overhead even worse than med ball overhead (that I do with the jumps group)

I love porridge. I'd eat it every day if I wasn't cutting down on carbs.
Newts today are having smoked salmon for brunch for the first time this year - I found a pack in the freezer os decided today is as good a day as any to eat it - and joining the inaugural Teams meeting of the knitting and crafters thread and knitting at the same time.

Oh and this is day five of my (new thing) Creatine Loading*. Am sick of it already, but it's down to once a day tomorrow, thank god.

*or Creosote Loading as I oh so hilariously dub it.

Today’s newt was finally getting round to doing a jumping photo for Flanci FB group (seems it’s a thing) I found a quiet spot in the park mid run and bingo sorted.

I also listened to the fetch podcast on my run while I listen to it it’s normally at work it was nice to have run chat during a run

We also had an extra one last night we put the chicken in the pizza oven to cook as it cooled down so easy dinner tonight.

I have used my new hoover head AND my new carpet cleaner.

My living room rug is now and entirely different colour, if a little damp. :-)

Yeah hp its the second of her 30 day Fitness Challenges and is supposed to be a progression (harder) than the first one. I'd deliberately chosen Beginners level so I only had to do 3 circuits and shorter bursts ... But that seems to change about 10 days in and it's four circuits for everyone and 30 second repeats today.

I've never pushed myself onto Advanced (claiming bus pass mode) as I don't think I've got the stamina for long reps.

3 newts for me today. I got two new Fetch badges - 4 corners and 100 squares for Who Squares Wins, and I tried the Beyond Meat sausages for the first time (got them with a yellow sticker yesterday). The taste and texture were good but cooking them was a nightmare. So much fat! I had to change the foil half way through as there was so much fat on it that the grill was liable to catch fire. I certainly wouldn't pay the full £5 for them.

Porridge is the best meal ever. I'd eat it for every meal of every day if I could. Also less messy and less likely to cause fire than the sausages I had today!

starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
