As for yesterday, some great newt jingles. I am drawn to the food ones, geordie girl’s pizzas looked amazing, but the award goes to the Baroness for patience waiting for the late arrival of the posh meal and for trying something completely new.

Hopefully not just newt, but regularly I’ve signed up with a litter picking team who do a once a month pick around the village. As I’m still furloughed I hope to do a weekly pick as I’ve been quite appalled by the amount of rubbish along the main road to the north of us.

Great newts today! Ooh primroses! Mine were proper out out blossom, the first of the green leaves and walking near Farnham castle, which I’ve never been to before despite it being very close to here!

A better newt than expected - not only my first race for my new team, but I won!
(It's only an age group win and not a hugely competitive event, but it's still better than I have done previously in this or indeed any other race.)

ER that is fab!
I have just been for a walk in mud and rain and *drumroll* managed to take 4 45 seconds running breaks 😱 that is as much as I have run since the last Manchester Fetch mile in 2012... I wouldnt call it a run, nor is it technically speaking a NEWT, but post operations etc I was never expected to be able to run ever again... I took advantage of the mud to soften my stride...

Growing citrus fruit is pretty impressive.
I like porridge but it has to be made a specific way. Also like yogi teas and pukka ones.
Another couple of newts. It’s been a good day. I hung a load of bedding out. First load on the line this year. Then I went to the tip for the first time this year. The thrill I’ve also just got a brand new ME waterproof for the grand total of £9. It was a warranty replacement for my old jacket.
