Not sure when the nest dates from, I haven't ever seen the box being used, but does it date from last year or is it currently in use? Don't want to interfere, the bedding is visible through the hole but I couldn't see if anything was inside right now. It was definitely empty when I moved it! Should be great tits, I think.

The learning mentor from LittleD's school just called to say how happy she is with her progress this term and to tell me that she's been awarded 12 credits for good behaviour. What a lovely thing to do.

The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.
