Totally agree with HP her blog is so real and true that many will relate too. As you said Hann to put it out there is a big step and we all need to reach out for help when needed.

Thanks Hann and others for your kind words. It’s not been the best start to the year. I’m not going anywhere though. This thread is one of the things keeping me going.

Just remembered another thing last night - ONE jump in the sandpit from guessed run up. For a technically crap jump it was quite encouraging.

Another little Newt here:

It is 18 degrees in the house and the heating isn't on! For the first time this year, I haven't had the heating on!

I've not been keeping up with this thread as it's been a weird few weeks. Feeling more in the right frame of mind now so will join in for the last few days.

Yesterday's newt was going to work and not needing to wear a coat for the first time this year :-)

About This Thread

starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
