I taught a jumperless PE lesson at 9am - it was already that warm. Which was weird, because it was frosty an hour before.

Lol Pix, lovely lights Moo. Yeah for return of footie too Dio

Big newt here... my first track session with running club!!

It wasn’t on a track but it was a track session. Really enjoyed it. It was on a car park and had loose gravel so I was a tad worried about potentially slipping on corners which slowed me down but I was happy with my pace all things considered

Hope you enjoyed your track Sharkie.

We went out for dinner on the seafront, big queue at the fish n chip shop so we had a wimpy instead then went to check out the new wicker family who have had a new addition. (They were removed from the seafront after being there for several years and the artist was commissioned to weave some more)

GG glad you enjoyed your session.

I have not been able to fully engage with newting. I've written a blog which gives a bit of an insight into why. Blogging is not a newt but the experience is. Probably not the kind of newt we'd be hoping for but in some ways I've learned from the experience and that is always a good thing.

Ha, Pix!
Luckily the worst I get is the dogs looking a bit terrified at me (and one time Bel sniffing the tablet and accidentally pausing my ride).

I risked the big stone cutting angle grinder for the first time today, between work and attempting to join the orange pain crew, and didn't hurt myself!

Sharkie
Saw lots of people at track, it was relatively busy (which is fine) although not Piccadilly Circus busy which it can be on week nights.

Ended up doing my own set which was 5 x 120m fast. Slight shock to system even though I have been training. Am too tired to blog it tonight - so I must have worked hard.

Such a lovely evening. So good to be back.

starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
