@ElspethF away for 12h Glenmore Ultra this morning so home alone.
Thick haar here but low level run shortly.
Physio assessment seems to correlate with your own @alehouse but no doubt frustrating.
I have review with spinal surgeon on Monday. Still seems to be slowly improving - not 100% but a good deal better than preop.
Lyrics no but with clue ( not black) guessed the colour correctly - it was never going to be blue! ;)

Thanks @HazelnutCH and hope your run goes well on Sunday.

Lyrics - no
What - a short walk (done) and some weight training later.
Why - taking it easy before my weekend of racing.
Last hard - intervals on Monday.
Last easy - yesterday.

Why: It's his running day.

Morning all :)

Lyrics, no not a clue

What - been to Pilates class and today's plan seems to be a gentle 20 minutes with some strides at the end,

It's like a very steamy sauna out though, not my favourite running conditions.

Why - have to keep on keeping on :)

Also have a long todo list, so sitting here with tea and Fetch can't carry on much longer.

Oh dear.
There is now no 2pm bus from Inverness to meet ferry any more (only train on a Sunday arrives far too late afternoon).

Elspeth now faced with returning from Aviemore via Inverness then Aberdeen to catch the long ferry back up again.

A bit of a downer before an Ultra. :(

Hello all

Friday

What - hill sprints running drills hopping box jumps and strides but reduced number from normal
Why - tapering for HM on 15/9
Last hard - last Saturday

Last rest - Tuesday

@HazelnutCH the session is one I have been doing this year instead of strength training. Cobbled together from various plans including P&D.

About This Thread

Maintained by riggys99
The Daily Thread

Each day someone sets some song lyrics, often on a particular theme, eg colours, numbers, running, etc. Others then say whether they know the song or not, but DO NOT say what the song is: the answer is revealed the next day.

Current theme: COLOURS

Contributors then say
What their training will be
Why they are doing it

Some also say
Last hard
Last rest

Plus of course general comments about the weather, other people’s training or races…illness or injuries!

Feel free to join us and why not set some lyrics once you get the hang of the thread?
