Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

....top 4 of Boycs, Cook, Tavare, Thorpe. They'll bat through first and second new ball, for 210 odd, then after 120 overs the biffers can cash in.....

I was thinking the other day the most boring thing I could imagine cricket wise would be Chris Broad commentating on Chris Tavare batting

I saw a few overs of Bronte Country Cricket on the top of Haworth Moor yesterday. A green, damp, wicket. Not one wicket went down in a whole 3 overs. I should think the English and Australia selectors will be up here watching next week.

New sport, maybe? Fell cricket? Face an over of fast bowling, then run three miles with a couple of thousand feet of ascent before facing the next one. Timed out if you don't do the run fast enough. Obviously you have to carry your bat the whole way.

Loving that for an idea :)

Another poor shot this morning (Buttler); what on Earth was he thinking?

Rain saving England at the moment, but it seems it won't last.

I don't think they deserve it to last, or rather I think Oz deserve the win here.
It would be nice if England could scrape together another 75-odd runs to avoid the innings defeat.

No, we've been thoroughly outplayed in this game. Odd series, really, we've thrashed 'em three times and been thumped twice.
