I get the feeling there was a quick and easy give away of 80 runs or so there - not a small amount

I hope they keep their heads and don't panic - would be a real shame to give this one away even if it is a dead rubber

481 is a frigging mountain to climb when one of your openers is Adam Lyth.

Think our average opening stand had been something like 11 (or 14?), best was 36 odd. Rubbish. Filth. And Lyth looks about 65 years old.

Yep today Lyth comes of age. Flashing his blade like a disembowelling cutlass, I see nothing short of a daddy 25-30 or so....;-)
