We have been better, partly because they have been stupid and stubborn and arrogant and ignored cricket's most important stroke when the ball is moving: the leave. But we're not as good as we have been talked up to. Lots for us to do to get better, and in a way having to scrap for a draw may do us some good long term. Hope Lyth enjoys his last test match...;-)
