The Vikings did the BHF today in a DLS game. Obviously in honour me finding and wearing my 20ish year old T20 blast (season 1 maybe??!) Yorkshire Phoenix shirt yesterday. |

Actually I think my shirt predates the T20 blast - I suspect it must the One Day competition version from 2001 that I picked up cheaply when they change kit manufacturer from Asics. Given it was huge on me in 2001, it still fits me quite nicely. |

In a contrast to the last 2x visits to The Hundred, the women's match was the highlight (from a Manchester perspective anyway!); close until the last 1-12- deliveries. Manchester were appalling with the bat. Did have at least some hopes that we'd see a record worst ever innings total, at least that would be memorable. Still, a good day out enjoyed by the family, and ultimately that is almost literally what it is all about when it comes the Hundred. (Lots of space in the stands though, think the last few times we've been they have been pretty much full) |

No test match chat yet? Good start by the Windies openers, but those quick wickets before lunch probably tip the scales in England’s direction. |

There's something satisfying about watching a batter being bowled shouldering arms

I know it always looks bad being bowled leaving, but still that's not even hit the top of off stump, nor just clipped it - that's a ball you should be playing at if you know where your off stump is. |
