And where is Andy Flower in all this? Pretty anonymous. In the summer Darren Lehman fronted up every day taking heat of his team. The same thing hasn't happened here.

I think it just goes to show the importance of the right mental attitude. The team, the individuals as cricketers = not that much difference between them. But the Aussies are all over us mentally. It's got 5-0 written all over this now.

Gobi
Can't believe they made it to day 5.
Just seen the stats on Englands batting, Stokes leading after 2 tests
Then Carberry
Now you have to ask will we see wholesale changes for the 4th test

It's not going to happen Gobi, they're terrified of the whitewash and will continue with the standard lineup to the bitter end. Two changes at the most for the next test.

Morning all.
Kind of glad I was in Barcelona for all of that. When I was at Luton airport on the way out it was 140-odd for 5. Went a bit downhill from there. This England side needs to kick out of the funk it is in. I don't mind if Cook goes slow, but someone tell Carbs its a T20 and get us off to a flyer. Grasp the initiative. We've gone to playing with the handbrake on. Even when we were at out grinding attritional best, we were still scoring much more freely than this.

I don't want them to change the line up. Let the fuckers whose casual attitude, lack of preparation and lack of fight has put us in the mess go out there day after day and get fucking annihilated, ridiculed and tortured for the next two tests and go down as the worst tour party ever.
It's what they deserve.
Frankly I shall enjoy watching it if it gets as ugly as I think it will do.
Flintoff's party was a shambles in 06/07 but they were right in the mix for a couple of tests and were playing against some proper great players. Their 5-0 defeat was bad, but in no way as disgraceful as this 'effort'.
