I think if you want a spinner to satisfy Captain Jardine, he'd prefer Hedley Verity. Can't see Fozz disagreeing with another Yorkie in the line up either.
I presume Boycs Granny would open with Hobbs. If only to demonstrate how she'd be playing Lyon with a stick of Rhubarb.

Not sure it would be a stick of forced rhubarb though -probably the more robust stuff that you grow in the garden

Morning Jonners, morning everyone.
200 odd for 5; decent start but is Haddin going to take them away from us again? Have they already got enough to build a handy first innings lead.....
C'mon boys....

Morning Gobbers, morning everyone,
I have arrived at work and it would appear normal service has resumed, more dripped catches and a 100+ partnership in the middle order

I was a bit depressed to find that my predicted selection was correct, i.e Bresnan the only change. Then a bit excited when I turned the TV on to witness the fall of Warner and Bailey but then the next partnership was a damn nuisance.
The commentators keep saying there is nowt in the pitch for the bowlers so on that basis we should make 600 easily !
