Being a little optimistic it isn't all lost. There will be a lot of pressure on the Aussies to tie things up at Perth and as Boycs says they aren't THAT good. Mind you neither are we at the moment but if things start well we have a chance. At 2-1 the Aussies might start to bottle it.
That view is still a biti of a fantasy though

Tavare, as I remember, got his 'boring' reputation by changing his grip to be able to lift his bat higher in playing the short ball, which meant he couldn't play many shots... sounds ideal for this next Test
