I'd like to see James Taylor do well. Living in Leics with a daughter playing for Nottinghamshire I've got a lot of time for him!

49-4 Taylor could be the highest score!

This is just like many of the test matches! We start with (a very small number) - 3, then find our feet!
Great to see Morgan and Bopara doing well - could be a close game now after the shakey start....

All of a sudden the required rate is under 3, a handful of runs needed with 6 wickets in hand. Blimey.

Biggest 5th wicket stand in ODI history. I looked up the list on Cricinfo. The only other 2 games where there was a stand of over 200 look like classics.
Ind vs Sri Lanka. India chasing 302 are in trouble, recover and then blow it after the stand to lose by 2 runs. Australia set NZ a large total after a big stand between Symonds and Clarke. NZ chase it down, despite losing wickets at regular intervals. They get within a hit of the game with 4 deliveries and 2 wickets in hand but McCullum is run out and they are bowled out 2 runs shy.

Anyone else think it ironic that our best batsman and bowler were both Irish and their best bowler was English?

I saw someone (ooops, can't remember to give them credit) tweet yesterday that in 2007, Ireland's Boyd Rankin took the wicket of England's Ed Joyce, for 1 run. Yesterday, England's Boyd Rankin took the wicket of Ireland's Ed Joyce, also for 1 run.

That sounds like an Andy Zaltzman stat, PtB.
