I've suffered from migraines on and off for my whole life. They seem to be more frequent and more intense since I had covid, although I don't know if there's an actual connection or just a bit of post hoc ergo propter hoc.

After managing to dodge it during the whole pandemic till now, it's finally caught up with us. More than likely caught in Edinburgh at the weekend at Biffy Clyro - although we tried to stay near the doors of the big top, it was still pretty packed.

Felt a bit rough yesterday, but put it down to Green Day and 6 hours of standing/walking/late night. But last night, felt mega rough, hot (but if I threw the covers off, getting cold felt painful), sore eyes & sinuses and had a bit of a cough if I let it. Dozed more than anything as had to keep taking a drink of water for my throat and my brain was thinking weird stuff. Woke drenched in sweat and feeling right. OH had serious muscle aches this morning and was sweating and feeling seriously fluey.

Disappointingly the (private) hospital I was at yesterday has removed the screen around reception (and receptionist unmasked). All nursing staff and most patients in masks though.

I think I'll wait until day 5 to test again.
Still very low on energy, but otherwise don't feel too bad.

I'm counting down till day 5 from my positive test. That'll be Monday. Finding the whole business highly tedious, but at the same time I'm not messing with this bastard virus, I've seen enough of what it's done to younger and fitter people than me.

I got a negative on day 5 after my positive. 🤞 it’s the same for you too.
