Tikka, really hope it doesn't spread.
Still a faint positive line for me today.

That's good news, Baz!

My sense of taste/smell is now gone - know something is sweet, etc but can't actually taste what it is. I'm totally exhausted, even from just sitting in the sofa, all I want to do is sleep. Boss has told me she doesn't expect to see me until next week, but to text her if I feel like I can WFH later in week.

I had to go and lie down quite frequently for the first couple of days, but was lucky that effects were pretty mild.
Sleep is very restorative, and it's good that your boss is supportive idle_wilder

-ve today, yay. Managed some time at allotment. No way I'm exercising proper yet based on my wheezing around the veg beds.

Purps
I'm nearly 2 weeks since my positive test, a week ago I had a negative test. I have chronic pain conditions and often napped in the day, but I'm still feeling quite worn out by having recently had covid. Get as much rest as you can :) Naps are good.

This is all so worrying, given that 90%+ are triple or quadruple vaccinated, but still catching CoVid time after time, does this mean endless jabs for each new variant forever? A lifetime of test, test, test? Can the vaccine developers keep up? Can we afford it? Or do we have to rely on “natural immunity” and go back to “normal” as in, accept there’s a bug going round and just moan about it while struggling into work? I am getting quite depressed about this, it’s like a never ending downward spiral.

I think it equally well fits here Non-runner.
Husband (quadruple jabbed) and I (triple jabbed) have it for the first time and luckily haven't felt too ill, so in that sense the vaccination almost certainly helped.
I guess we're used to an annual flu jab, so maybe COVID will join it.
