That wasn't aimed at you Baz! Does your travel insurance cover you or are airlines happy for CV19 positive customers to fly now?

Quick question about hospital visiting. My grandmother is in hospital (stroke not COVID). What are the current recommendations/requirements re masks/lfts before visiting?

Sorry to hear about your gran Yorkshire Pie.

I imagine it will vary hospital to hospital. I believe our hospital allows no masks and may have dropped LFTs for visitors (can’t remember the latest visitor guidelines) but some wards have more stringent requirements due to the vulnerability of the patients on them and all can change if there are any outbreaks or particularly vulnerable people. I think the best thing is to check with the ward she is on.

Probably too early to be sure but symptoms have lifted for me, was wiped out for most of yesterday and now just have a slight cough.

But since I can still trigger a strong positive on LFT I’m isolating from rest of the household until that bit clears.

I started gargling mouthwash yesterday as it felt like I had viral gunk around the back of my throat. No idea if it helped but there is some limited evidence to suggest it might:

We're off to Glastonbury too Macca, and husband is scheduled to have a hip replacement 4 days after we get back. We'll be keeping to less populated areas as much as we can. Main issue may be the queue to get in through gate C, as we're in the campervan fields. Will probably mask up for that bit
