Not sure it's really "positive" (it seems the cognitive dysfunction and loss of fitness are likely permanent), but at least I know now (until now, it's just been suspicion on my part). But better than a positive LFT, I guess.

Sorry Andy. I meant more that it was a positive experience.

Please don't feel you have anything to apologise for LMH.
Yes, it was a very positive experience - as was the infusion of mcab I went in for a few weeks back.
It's amazing how much easier it is to get bad news when you feel like the person giving it is actually listening to you.

Feel a bit "off" this morning - temp's ok, but I feel like I'm sitting in a very hot room (I'm not)! I'm sure cycling to parkplod will sort that out :)

well that's us both positive now - Boss Lady had symptoms since Saturday but was testing negative. Both feeling flu like symptoms, weary and tired too. Will see how next few days go.

So after feeling "a bit off" on Saturday morning, things went a bit ... sideways.

Cycled about 2.5 miles to parkrun, tail walked (1:04:01, so a new PW), so far so good.
Cycled back. About half way, suddenly had absolutely no energy at all. Nothing.
Struggled to even pedal. Eventually made it home (If I hadn't been on the ebike, I don't think I would have made it)

Check out my O2Sat ... 89%. Spent most of the weekend lying on the sofa, too weak to move.

It's crept up to 92% now, so that's something I guess.

I'm a bit concerned about this whole episode. As a layperson, it strikes me as a very odd reaction to a vaccine (especially one that I've had 3 times previously with nothing like as dramatic side-effect). Since I've been having bouts of lower SPO2 since my first infection in March '20, I'm inclined to think it's a recurrence of that, which just happened to coincide with the vaccination.

Scary indeed - glad to hear that you're feeling better now Andy. It does sound like an unusual and possibly unlikely side effect but then there isn't a lot of research about how the vaccines may affect people with long Covid. Any other issues or just the low SpO2 and fatigue? It's probably worth Yellow Carding it.

Just a bit of soreness in my arm. Slightly elevated temp on Saturday evening/Sunday morning.
I've carded it as you suggested (and I'd forgotten what a total pain that system is to use :) )
