Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Ooh says between April and June for me, earlier than I thought!
By the way, 10% of the adult population have now received their first jab. I find that pretty amazing!

My guess for large mass events to run might be around Q3

People in their 20s and 30s are predicted to get their second dose by Sept, but that assumes 70% take-up. Without some kind of vaccine passport and enforcement of this I struggle to see how mass events can return in a form we are used to.

Don’t forget prevalence was down to a very low level over last summer. It should be a lot better this coming summer.

Half marathon done today 8 with a friend. All walkers we passed were chilled and very friendly we did give space but often they moved to let us through. Very pleasant.

I had the Pfizer jab and everyone was being booked for 2nd dose 12 weeks to the day. To be fair, if after 3 weeks its 80% + effective, I'm OK about that and am just damned grateful to have had the chance for an early vaccine.
