Have already been living as if in strict lockdown for sometime now - not met up with others, only go out for food shopping and exercise. Really doesn’t matter if Boris says it is from tonight or any other day.

jennyh - that's fine - not a rant at all. I'm also aware of certain churches (normally outside the larger national "chains") which give us all a bad name by holding illegal/undistanced services with a blase "we don't need masks, God will protect us" attitude - more in the USA than here though!

slight deviation to news but my uncle is on his way home from hospital. Still a long way to go for recovery but out of the worst of it (hopefully)

Good news gg. Hope his recovery continues smoothly. I will be sad if it's no longer possible to meet one person outside for exercise, particularly as sadly there have been several assaults on women locally in the last week or so. Other than that it won't make any difference to me. |

The Scottish rules are one other person (or members of your own household of course)

crikey assaults on women is scary let alone several attacks. I hope you stay safe FP, I hope there is enough evidence to allow meeting one person for exercise, I've been running with my mum since end of lockdown #1 Thank you both |
