Little Nemo
Right, I'll start!

I'd like to have weekly Government updates to remind us what the current rules/guidance are. Tell us which areas are under tighter measures, which are the areas heading that way. I want them to be grown up about what they know and to stop leaking stuff. It seems as though they are deciding what to do based on the public's reaction rather than what's the right thing to do. If they don't know just admit it and say that if after trying it it doesn't work that they'll review it. We're all having to learn as things progress, why not treat us as adults?

Agreed Little Nemo

Particularly when we're in and out of local lockdown with different rules in the space of my journey to work

I would like the UK governments to work together and agree consistent guidelines for us to follow. I accept there may be some local variations if there are hotspots, but the different rules between countries make it harder to keep up

Noticed queuing at local supermarket for the first time in several months this morning and several trolleys full of toilet paper - surely people have learnt how to be sensible and realise that stockpiling isn’t necessary or going to help the situation?

I agree LN. My nearly 18-yr-old boy said to me yesterday 'I'd have a lot more respect for them if they just admitted when they'd made mistakes and were clear about what the rules are now and why'.

PS the Irish have a good infogram thing (is that the word?) which I found clear. I'll see if I can find it.

LD, thats what I hate about politicians. They never can be honest or answer a question they are asked
