Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I stress and worry about everything so Covid has made no difference on that score….except it has really.

I try and live by the day too, but not always easy, especially nit the last couple of years.
The human condition is such that we strughle if we cannot plan ahead or if plans keep getting cancelled by the powers that be.
I am not usually stressed but have been the last couple of years. So much so, my damaged heart has been playing up for the first time since sustaining the damage...

It is a very, very hard change to make. Especially with a starting point like mine, where I worried about everything.

But, with baby steps, have made real progress.

I noticed one other strange thing too. When I am well hydrated, I worry much less than when not. That may be just me.

I'm fairly OK just sensible but I speak to mum every day and she is a hermit and terrified now so I can't help but hear dread

in fact I'd go as far to say that all my anxiety the last 18mths has related to worrying about mum's actions (lack off) fear and health

I'm not a worrier, but I'm highly motivated not to catch COVID.

Merry Christmas and Happy NewG(rrr)
Thinking about the future isn't the same as worrying. Nor is only concentrating on "the now" the same as being relaxed. Anxiety as a mental condition can affect many parts of the thinking process, rational and irrational. A simple exhortation to concentrate only on now, or worse, to ignore the future, doesn't necessarily help.

I do think about the future. I am lucky not to either suffer from anxiety, nor to be an over-worrier. :-) G
