There are definitely kids rigging LFT tests. Do these positive test figures include LFTs? At the moment that statistic asks more questions than it answers. And has that particular data been released in order to persuade us to "behave ourselves" come Monday? |

Thanks for that gg, I shall stock up as taking a test before visiting mum does give me and her a little reassurance.

Happy - so none of them will be included in the figures then as I believe that is positive PCR tests? As the app hasn't changed then it must be the number of infected people that people are coming into contact with. Great that the app is suddenly subject to criticism for doing what it's supposed to. |

You can be in proximity but not at risk as the risk is face to face contact within 2m for 15min or more in enclosed space. I know 110% I’ve not been in that position. So if I got pinged and had to isolate it would be OTT and knowing 3 people personally where this has happened is not good.

And that it doesn’t appear to give you a location it’s also a bit pointless my 3 friends had been able to work out the date and because they go very few places could only narrow down to the one place they’d been with no direct contact. Another great one is my phone told me this morning I’d signed into Etsy & changed my password (I had) but said I was in Birmingham- I’m not I’m at home in Durham. At the exact time and unless someone changed my password to the exact one I did at the exact time I’m not convinced of it’s accuracy anymore. |

Were you on your home Wi-Fi? It'll be the location of the IP Address of the Acess Point you're connecting through.

Could your location being picked up on a Wi-fi day in a venue give a false location ? Sorry I’m a techno phone.
