panarma covered long covid last night basically they test to confirm it's not something else as there is not test for LC - maybe in 6 months or so? One Dr said - hopefully most people will feel considerably better in 2-3 years The problem is they don't know what it is or who to get you to see and what treatment as it's so inconsistent This is, to me, a much bigger worry to me and the NHS than covid itself |

AndyS that's so, so awful. I hope that the recent discovery of "autoantibodies" associated with long Covid might be a first step to understanding how to treat it properly. ( theguardian.com )

My local hospital Trust has a Long Covid Clinic, but obviously there is a lot of research to do.

Andy, anything I think of to write doesn’t seem to cut it, so I’ll just say I really hope things turn around and you feel better soon.

I feel for Andy, but with cases, hospitalisations and deaths already going up an up pre "freedom day", how many more stories will there be like Andy's? I watched the panorama documentary last night and words fail me. Even if we're opening up, why can't we still have mandatory face masks and distancing? How many more lives will be avoidably ruined ? |
