And kids can't go to look at the school that they will be moving to in September, and parents can't go to sports day, so much being prohibited still that could be done relatively safely - but we can't stop a bunch of idiots watching a stupid game.

And now this there is this article Torah saying GNR will not finish in South Shields due to covid restrictions….. the same restrictions that are lifted in a little over a week. shieldsgazette.com Yes there are crowds at GNR esp at the finish but anyone there will be fully outside not in a part covered stadium or in a pub for best part of 3hrs with the same people. And people will still gather if they’re waiting for loved ones to finish and the public transport will still have as many people. |

On kids looking at schools our nephew lives in France he’s opting to come to UK for college pre Uni & had to pick where to go and accommodation from looking at videos. Thankfully we helped out on north east college and he’s got a place near to his other auntie but it’s but a cloud over what should be an exciting time for him.

That sounds like a sensible approach by GNR. While I get the outside argument, crowds can be packed very closely together. I am wondering what VLM plans are as they have an even bigger issue. |

It is sensible but back to my bug bear the euros and other large sporting events haven’t been sensible and neither has the venues people were watching from. And the same people will be watching regardless of finish |

It's been interesting hearing everyone's views, mainly because they're the polar opposite of mine but after a while it becomes a bit depressing reading them So I am flouncing off, enjoy and take care! |

That’s a bit cheery for a flounce Went to Sainsbury’s last night, the constant exhortations to shop alone got really fucking annoying. Though they’ve finally reinstated the plastic dividers to demarcate people’s shopping so maybe those weren’t the cause of covid after all… |

Re Novavax - this implies full submission to MHRA still not done and not likely until Q3 (article was in May, but I'm assuming 'third quarter is July - Sept) pmlive.com |
