Those incidence nos. are good news, ToF & JB. Thank you.

I'd like to think our government aren't devious enough to plan for the possible costs of paying old age pensions vs. medical costs for "long Covid". (No need to attribute their actions malice when average incompetence will do!)

Good to see the Marsh Family's "Hallelujah" variant ;) is back on YouTube with sound. I suspect Sony decided the bad press for claiming copyright infringement was not seen well by the public!

And they've recorded a new one too....

Tim, that's a really nice attitude. I agree. Happy to be curtailed a bit in my freedoms if kids can get a bit more face to face learning and maximum support up to end of academic year. :-) G

Isn't it because everyone who owns a house in Devon is safely tucked away at home in London? ;-)

3M, not our government, those in Europe that are age restricting the Ox/AZ vaccine.

I think that basically the UK is taking a more pragmatic approach than some European governments. E.g. the European regulators waited for the trial data to be finalised and delivered before starting assessment of vaccines, UK regulators looked at the trial data bit by bit as it was produced, so once it was finalised they were able to complete their assessment and approve quickly.
With whether to approve for O60s, again I think the UK is looking at trends and initial data to come to a judgment, whilst in Europe they are demanding full, formal data
