Thanks ndellar for your post, I'm not quite sure how worried to be about it. I will go to Docs but am hoping things will take their natural course however I will see the Doc if no show.

I was on Micronor before Cerazette - was great re pain free periods, but awful re the unpredictableness (actually it was pretty predictable as I was pretty much always on - same with the Cerazette). Wish I'd got my implant much sooner!!

Right. Very cross now. I'm already very anaemic and now on my 3rd period this month. Does anyone actually have a name of any progesterone only pill I can take that does not do this to them. I refuse to take this one any more. Years and years with no periods and then one a week. Really frustrating.

Gymfreak ... no. The progestogen-only pill is a bugger for causing irregular bleeding, and no one brand is any better than the others
Depo-provera is quite good at making periods stop.

It's a three-monthly injection of a progestogen, GF. Most women will have no bleeding at all after they've been using it for about 6 months. The downside is that once it's in, it's in, and if you get side-effects (mood changes and weight gain are the commonest) you're stuck with it until it wears off.

Oh. Weight gain and mood changes. Yippee. I really really liked my old pill *must stop sulking about what I can't have*
It sounds like I should give it a go for 3 months maybe and if I am 25 stone and depressed then try something else again. 3 months isn't too long.
