i get migraines so can't take COP. i've been on the POP cerazette for a couple of years now (took COP before migraines got bad).
Doc was rather dismissive of my fertility when prescribing POP and said she wouldn't prescribe it for a 'fertile 21 yr old' but that 'for a 33 yr old it'll be fine' (?)
Hopefully i'm not entirely passed it reproductively as am getting married at the end this year and then after a trip to south america will be forsaking the contraception and letting nature decide if it's to be or not.
cerazette gets a REALLY bad rap online, supposed to make people mad PMT psychos.. but i've not noticed any effect on mood.

oh, and for JSL who asked - cerazette has totally stopped my periods entirely.. but i believe it can give spotting or even continuous bleeding for other people.

Stopped taking Cilest on Saturday and am now floored by pretty bad non-period period type pain and a LOT of bleeding. Can't wait until the Cilest is totally out of my system!

Im on cerazette . Just finishing first pack. Lots of break through and stomach cramps and stuff but no proper period pain that normally cripples me which makes a nice change I guess

Irregular bleeding is the commonest reason for people stopping Cerazette.
I took it for a while, and at first it was great, with just the occasional scrawny little bleed. Then it became chaotic and frequent. Fortunately, by that time I'd settled down and didn't need to be on the pill anyway - if I had still needed contraception, I'd have had a coil fitted. The combined pill would be my overwhelming preference because of the cycle control, but I have a medical contra-indication
