I am on Cilest, the only reason I have a podge is cos I eat too much cake. :)

Been on it for about 4 years never had any probs with it, supprised 7 weeks would have that much of an effect on you, maybe pee on a stick just in case

I had issues with Cilest a couple of years again. The main issue was feeling sick within an hour of taking it. I think I managed 2 months and gave up and stopped taking the pill. I've been taking Microgynon since Jan and haven't had any problems. :-)

Another vote for doing a preggers test...

CL - is funny you say that because I absolutely would have been hit for 6 if I had been, but a part of me now kinda wishes I was... Funny old world :p

Have stopped the Cilest, and even just not having had one this morning I am considerably less nauseous. OH has been fabulous about it too :)

I've just read through most of this thread quickly, v. interesting. I have bad endometriosis and currently take combined pill, 3 packs straight then a week off, it worked for a few years but have developed problems last few months and my consultant suggested mirena coil or cerazette progesterone only pill. Does anyone out there have endometriosis and if so what works for you? Got loch ness mara in Oct and would love not to need half of Boots chemist in my camelback.

Mirena coil for me! Spent years on a the pill and after having my 2 children i went back on the pill but kept suffering with breakthrough bleeding. Spoke to docs and they wanted to put me on a stronger pill Marvelon! Linked more to blood clots. I asked around friends and mums at toddler group and alot of them were more than happy with the coil so i took the plunge. It was fitted in April and so far so good. Was uncomfortable being fitted and after. But now probably have only 2 days of bleeding a and a smudge day! And in for the next 5 years all being well. I've heard nothing but good about them :)
