Yup.
I stopped Cerazette because of random bleeding, which started after over a year of just occasional little tiny bleeds (which were also random, but that was OK). Had the occasional tiny little bleeds persisted, I'd probably still be taking it now even though I don't need contraception.

Hmmm. Have to just see what continues I suppose. I'm a bit paranoid about bleeding generally at the moment coz of the whole warfarin thing. Dunno what I'm expecting, to bleed to death or something lol
Are other progesterone pills similar or is it just that one that causes random bleeding stuff?

Someone told me the Mirena coil was really difficult/painful to fit if you havent had children? Is that a myth?

I've had two and found it a bit nippy - and a bit of period aching afterwards...but it's paid for itself times over with no periods (I used to be massively irregular and tres heavy)

I was told to take brufen beforehand and paracetamol afterwards, I think it was more the ought of it that made me more tense than I needed to be (like anyone would be calm when a speculum is involved - LOLs), but it really wasn't too bad

having sorted out my heavy/painful bleeding issues with the gynae doc, i've found that mefanamic acid REALLY works if i take it religiously, but it doesn't tackle the hormonal issues i have, which, if I'm honest, are the worst of my symptoms. We agreed to try a high dosage contraceptive pill AGAIN to see if i can control the hormones, but in the past 3 months, i have had 7 'periods'. Doc says that my own cycle is breaking through due to the epilepsy medication that i take AGAIN and now....we have exhausted all possibilities. I'll be hormonal forever, but at least with mefanamic acid my periods are reduced in heaviness and pain and my cycle is regular!
