My first run back in Italy and picked up 4 zones :) I suspect I will only get a few more as I always run in the same places and I don't have a car to get out to explore new routes.

Is there any way of overlaying a route onto conquercise to see which zones the route will go through?

If you plot the route in the "add routes" section - and click on the show conquercise zones thing at the bottom right, the boundaries on each zone are overlaid on the route.

If you're clever, you can use Chris's KML thing and overlay your zones on Google earth and do it that way.

Thanks to Ceratonia and Chris I can nearly do what I wanted.

The cycling group I've started riding with publish the route on strava so if I import that and the Conquercise KML into Google Earth I can see the route as an overlay on the zones I've previously explored.

If there was some way of getting GE to show the same info that the Conquercise map now shows or if I could load a .TCX as an overlay on the Conquercise map I'd be a happy chappy.

If you go to Routes -> Import Routes, you can read a .tcx file into FE (or at least you could). You might then be able to view the route and see which zones it passes through?

I tried viewing a route that I already had in Fetch but, unless I'm missing something, the option to overlay the Conquercise grid is only available on 'Add a route'.

I get the grid view on all maps - add a route, view a route, view one of my training runs, view a buddy's training run, etc

So there is a setting somewhere to switch this on, I remember doing it, but can't find it. It's not in Profile settings, someone else will no doubt know

Another long-standing wish of mine, it occurs to me, is that on a mobile device, the CQ map should launch in your current location, not your home zone. I expect that would take a deal of new programming, though.
